Project Title: Community Facilitator Development Program Phase 3

Description: IGGRD works closely with GOI stakeholders and the facilitators association in implementing the CFDP Phase 3, which will: (1) legally establish the Community Facilitators Certification Institute and support certification of basic competencies; (2) deliver training of trainers in design and facilitators’ refresher training; (3) identify and develop standards for certification of advanced competencies; (4) develop a work plan of accreditation for facilitator training institutes and their materials.

Project Title: Revitalizing Indonesia’s Knowledge Sector for Development Policy
Date: May 2010 – June 2011

Description: Working in conjunction with the National Development Planning Board (Bappenas); providing technical and administrative supports that accommodate the structure which is a steering committee, a management committee, and three working groups consisted of government, universities, and think tanks; ensuring sound communication within the structure and that activities are well-planned and implemented; ensuring that meetings within the structure are well-documented and that relevant meeting notes included in the reports.

Project Title: Community Facilitator Development Program Phase 2
Date: April 2009 – May 2010
Location: Medan, Jakarta, Salatiga, Malang, Manado, Makassar, Kupang
Client: World Bank (administered by British Council)
Description: IGGRD worked in collaboration with the British Council to undertake the Community Facilitators Development Program Phase 2 which was implemented to train new master facilitators and trainers, who will in turn cascade trainings to the new facilitators. The trainings objectives were: (1) to train and develop qualified community facilitators’ trainers in supporting the PNPM Mandiri delivery in 2009; (2) to develop assessment processes for standardizing PNPM community facilitators’ skills and competencies skills and competencies for PNPM community facilitators; (3) to build a database system of master trainers, trainers, facilitators, local coordinators, and training organizer institutions (governmental and non-governmental).

Project Title: Community Facilitator Development Program Phase 1

Location: Jakarta, Salatiga, Medan, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Makassar, Lombok, Palembang, Sorong
Client: World Bank (administered by British Council)
Description: IGGRD worked in collaboration with the Decentralization Support Facility (DSF), the British Council, and the Center for Eastern Indonesia Studies of Satya Wacana Christian University (PSKTI UKSW) conducted a development program for the community facilitators. The program was intended to support the National Program of Community Empowerment (PNPM) Mandiri, a national program which its mission is to overcome the poverty issue in Indonesia.

Project Title: Institutional Enhancement and Members’ Capacity Building for House of Regional Representative (DPD)

Location: Manokwari, Jayapura, Wamena, Ambon, Tual, Ternate, Kendari, Muna, Buton, Palu, Tolitoli, Gorontalo, Kupang, Waingapu, Atambua, Mataram, Bima, Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe

Description: IGGRD developed DPD’s institutional enhancement program and DPD members’ capacity building by: (1) facilitating “donors’ knowledge pooling” to support DPD’s programs; (2) designing the mechanism of constituent aspiration management; (3) designing DPD members’ performance indicators; (4) conducting a capacity building workshop for DPD members from Eastern Indonesia and Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

Project Title: Working Group on Good Governance and Development of Eastern Indonesia
Date: September 2004
Location: Makassar
Client: World Bank
Description: IGGRD used to be the counterpart of SOfEI in implementing good governance in the Eastern Indonesia areas. Together with Sagric International, IGGRD held a meeting of “Working Group on Good Governance and Development of Eastern Indonesia” in Makassar.
